Our culinary philosophy

For us, eating is much more than just consuming food – it is a sensual pleasure. At the same time, we understand responsibility as an obligation towards the food and products we use, nature and the region from which they originate. With great appreciation and care, we create dishes that combine quality, seasonality and creativity – each one an expression of our passion for good cuisine and great enjoyment.

Culinary temptation

With a constant stream of new ideas and many years of experience, our head chef and his team create dishes that delight our guests – from a lavish breakfast buffet to à la carte lunch and dinner. Our menu changes every two months, offering new culinary discoveries every time.

We pamper our guests throughout the day: in the morning with a breakfast buffet, at lunchtime with à la carte dishes, in the afternoon with coffee and cake, and with our classic menu, which satisfies cravings for hearty fare. In the evening, in addition to the regular à la carte menu, there are two special menus to choose from: a 5-course tasting menu and a 4-course vegan menu, both of which offer special moments of indulgence. During the Christmas season, there is also a take-away menu for at home, so you can enjoy the Forsthaus in the comfort of your own home.

This means our guests can be pampered all day long, from morning to night – whether cosily by the fireplace on cold days, in the light-flooded bay window or on the beautiful terrace in summer – a culinary experience with heart and passion.
