Our historic Main Hoouse is the heart of the ensemble – a listed half-timbered house, nestled in the tranquillity of the forest and steeped in centuries of history. It has been carefully and respectfully converted into a comfortable 4-star hotel.
The nine individually designed rooms are located on the upper floor of the building and each has its own unique character: different room sizes, cosy sloping ceilings, plenty of natural light through Gildemeister dormers and high-quality, custom-made furnishings in an elegant country house style create a warm, cosy atmosphere. The rooms are named after birds and fruits – in the bird rooms, the respective plumage is also reflected in the colour scheme, giving each room a special identity.
A particular advantage of the Main House is its close proximity to the restaurant: here you can enjoy the cuisine of the house in the evening and start the next morning relaxed with breakfast – all under one roof. The Main House is ideal for families, as the rooms are within easy reach while parents can enjoy a quiet evening in the restaurant.
