The Finkenschlag House complements the forest lodge ensemble with a modest, charming building designed for peaceful living and moments of individual retreat. The house has been extensively modernised to improve its energy efficiency and carefully integrated into the overall picture.
On the upper floor, there are two individually designed single rooms, which are accessible via a staircase. The Grünfink and Buchfink rooms impress with their cosy sloping ceilings, high-quality, custom-made country-style furnishings and a quiet, personal atmosphere. As in other houses in the ensemble, the rooms are named after birds – the colour scheme is based on the plumage of the bird that gives the room its name, giving each room its own harmonious character.
The Distelfink apartment is located on the ground floor of the building. It is rented on a long-term basis and is not part of the hotel.
The Finkenschlag House is ideal for solo travellers who value peace and quiet, individuality and a harmonious atmosphere – close to nature and nestled in the special atmosphere of the forest lodge grounds.
